A garage is only as secure as its weakest entry point, and thieves know most people stop thinking about security once the bike is inside. Harden it in this order:
The main door: use a rolling-code opener, and secure the emergency release cord so it can't be fished through the top of the door with a wire.
Side doors: the classic entry point. Fit a deadbolt and reinforce the frame — most side doors give up to one solid kick.
Windows: cover or frost them so nobody can window-shop your bike.
Inside the garage: install a ground anchor and chain the bike to it. If thieves get in, they should find a second problem waiting.
Habits: don't leave the door open while you work out front, and never leave the opener remote in a car parked in the driveway.
Finally, add a motion sensor or alarm inside, and keep a GPS tracker on the bike — because a garage stops being protection the moment someone gets past it.
