What's in the Box

The 18L backpack with the LED panel fitted, the wireless remote, a remote mount, four zip ties, a rain cover and the manual.

Is It Bright Enough?

The panel is a dense grid of green LEDs behind a tinted face, flat on the back of the bag at shoulder height — the line a following driver is already looking along. Green is the colour the eye resolves fastest in low light, which is why exit signs use it. It is at its strongest in the dark, which is when you need it; in direct midday sun it reads as weaker, and that is true of every LED signal on the road, including the ones on your bike.

Five seconds of it working

From the car behind, on a wet street.
Thumb on the bar. The arrow answers.
Both hands stay on the grips.

Take a hand off the bars, and you have let go of the brake

On a bicycle or an e-scooter there is no indicator at all. On a motorcycle the blinkers sit down by your knees — below the hood line of the car behind you, and hidden by your own leg the moment you lean into the turn. So you either stick an arm out and ride the corner one-handed, or you keep both hands on and hope the driver guesses right.

Reflective strips and a tail light tell that driver you exist. They never tell him you are about to move left. This panel does: a wide arrow in green LEDs, flat on your back at shoulder height, fired from a remote zip-tied to your bars. Neither hand leaves the grips.

One bag, three sets of handlebars

  • On the motorcycle

Your blinkers sit by your knees. This one is at shoulder height.

  • On the bicycle

A bicycle has no indicators of any kind. Now yours has four modes.

  • On the e-scooter

Both hands stay on the grips the whole way through the turn.

  • On foot after dark

Unlit road, dog on the lead, and the panel still does its job.

What it actually fixes

  • Being invisible

A dark jacket on a dark road is close to nothing to the driver behind.

  • One-handed turns

A thumb on the bar does it. Your grip never changes at all.

  • Three items to one

Bag, vest and light become the one thing you already wear.

  • Batteries to buy

The panel lifts off and charges by USB. Nothing to replace.

1 of 4

A tail light says I am here. It never says where I am going.

That gap is the one every rider fills with an arm out in the dark — for the half-second it is out, in a sleeve the colour of the road, at waist height. An arrow on your back, in green, at the height of the driver's eyeline, holds for as long as you hold the button.

Three steps, then forget about it

  • ① Zip-tie the remote on

Four ties in the box. No tools, no drilling, two minutes.

  • ② Tap left or right

Your thumb stays on the bar. The arrow starts behind you.

  • ③ Charge it by USB

The panel unclips off the bag. Plug it in like a phone.

The same street, the same rider, two seconds apart

Drag the handle. Nothing about the night changed except what the driver behind can see.

Signal on

The driver behind you is not going to guess. Tell him.

Left, right, straight ahead and stop — four modes on one thumb, eighteen litres of room underneath, and a rain cover in the pocket for the day the sky opens.

How it compares

Against the two things a rider actually does instead: stick an arm out, or trust the tail light to say it for them.

Questions riders ask

How does the remote attach?

Four zip ties and a small mount, both in the box. It clamps to a standard handlebar on a motorcycle, a bicycle or an e-scooter, within thumb reach of the grip. No wiring, nothing to drill.

Will drivers actually see it?

It is a grid of green LEDs on the flat of your back, roughly at the eye level of the driver behind you — higher than a tail light and higher than your bike's indicators. At night that is the brightest thing on you.

Does it work on a motorcycle?

Yes — it is a backpack, so it goes wherever you do, and the panel sits above the hood line of the car behind. Treat it as an extra signal on top of the indicators your bike is required to have, not a replacement for them.

How do I charge it?

The panel unclips off the back of the bag and charges over USB, the same way you charge a phone.

What fits in 18 litres?

17.3" × 11.4" × 7.1" (44 × 29 × 18 cm). A 14" laptop, a folded jacket, a lock, and a bottle in each stretch side pocket. The bag itself is about 1.4 lb (630 g).

What happens if it rains?

The nylon is water-resistant and there is a rain cover in the pocket for heavy rain. Pull it over the bag and the panel stays visible through it.
